Davis announces Barracuda Networks for Sonoma Race Brandon Davis has been looking forward to the opportunity to return to the TRG-Aston Martin Racing Pirelli World Challenge grid. Thanks to Barracuda Networks, he will be able to return to competition at the Sonoma weekend. Davis will compete for the TRG-AMR team in the No. 27 Barracuda Networks Aston Martin Vantage GT4.
Davis said, “Barracuda Networks will be the sponsor and we are excited to bring them to the Pirelli World Challenge / TRG-AMR fold. They are a company that specializes in providing security, networking and storage products based on network appliances and cloud services. Their sponsorship of me in Sonoma is a great fit as the event is close to Silicon Valley. We hope to bring them a win!"
Davis also had this to say about the announcement, “I am really excited to return to the TRG-AMR team after competing in their maiden voyage with the Aston Martin GT4 at the Long Beach event. After concluding a test day, it is obvious that TRG and Aston Martin have continued to improve the package. I look forward to getting back out in the Pirelli World Challenge series with Aston Martin against so many other competitive marques.”
The No. 27 Barracuda Networks Aston Martin Vantage will have the benefit of two teammates for this race. Davis and the TRG-AMR team hope that the three-team approach will allow for the team to use the data from three cars to accelerate the knowledge base for all involved.
“Anytime you have multiple teammates it can only help, especially with such a new car to the Pirelli World Challenge for TRG. I think it will allow us to maximize our efficiency in such a busy weekend at Sonoma.”
