INDIANAPOLIS, USA. April 1, 2004 – Eurointernational Group is pleased to announce its line up for the 2004 Formula Renault 2000 North American Championship. Argentinean Juan Martin Ponte and Venezuelan Ricardo Imery, will be behind the wheels of the two Formula Renault 2000 cars entered by Eurointernational Srl and Euro International Inc. for the 13 races of the 2004 Formula Renault 2000 North American Championship, while a third FR2000 will be entered in selected races and used for testing.

Juan Martin Ponte, from Concordia, Argentina, second in the 2004 FR2000 Winter Series in Florida , will return for the second year behind the wheels of the familiar # 50 Impact Protection System/Grapeking/Asia Express/ Eurointernational Tatuus FR2000 : ‘This new season is very important for my career ‘ said Poonte ‘ and I do not have words for thanks Antonio Ferrari , my sponsors and my family for make this possible. I am aeger to retun to race in USA and Canada where I have some unfinished business since last year . ‘

Ricardo Imery, from Caraces, Venezuela, tenth in the 2004 FR2000 Winter Series and fifth in the last Miami Homestead FR2000 race, will drive the #7 Cavenas/ Eurointernational Tatuus FR2000 and return with the Team after the last three FR2000 Winter Series races in 2004 : ‘ I really liked work with the Team and Martin (Ponte) during the Winter Series and I have prepared very well myself for the incoming FR2000 Championship ‘ said Imery.

While Juan Martin Ponte has already tested with the Formula Renault V6 of Eurointernational in Europe, Ricardo Imery will take part to a testing program with the Team’s FRV6 cars at the end of the FR2000 North American Championship for a possible debut in the FRV6 Series in Europe and or USA in 2005.

‘ I am very happy to have Martin and Ricardo on our FR2000 for many reasons outside their talent and experience ‘said Team owner Antonio Ferrari’ Ponte talent will finally bring the results deserved, while Imery experience will make him one of the contenders for the top places in the final standing. In the Team we are learning Spanish language for Martin and Ricardo, and I am proud to have next to an Argentinean a Venezuelan driver in our racing program, specially for my Venezuelan wife Alexandra, and her Country in the middle of serious civil crisis‘

The Team has a third Formula Renault 2000 ready to compete in the entire Formula Renault 2000 North American Championship, and has already scheduled several days of testing during the season. Next August, in Indianapolis, the Team will organize a special Racing Campus with its FR2000 cars for the two young karting drivers of the Eurointernational Junior Team : Edoardo Piscopo and Daniel Zampieri, who are competing in the European and Italian Open Championship 100 ICA and 100 Junior category.

Eurointernational Group comes from a strong start of the season in MONZA, last week end, where Giorgio Mondini finished second and Stefano Proetto fourth in Round 1 of the 2004 Eurocup Formula Renault V6 Championship, and will start the 2004 Formula Renault 2000 North American Championship in Phoenix, Arizona, USA next April 7-10, for return to compete in the Eurocup FRV6 Championship in Valencia, Spain the following week on April 15-18.
