Pocono IndyCar race to rain out (3rd Update)

UPDATE The rain has begun at the track. Will it blow through in time for a race today? This is a large track to dry and IndyCar has no Air Titans like NASCAR.

08/20/16 This rumor is close to being upgrade to 'fact' with word from the US Weather Service that the Poconos will see scattered thunderstorms in the morning Sunday becoming more widespread in the afternoon. Gusty winds and small hail are possible. High around 75F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

The latest weather update from Pocono is an 80% chance of rain at race time on Sunday, an improvement from the 95% chance previously reported. We will keep this rumor rated 'strong' for now.

08/19/16 Strong rumor that the Pocono IndyCar race on Sunday will rain out. If the race started at normal time, around Noon or 1:00 PM they might have gotten the race in, but at the 3:00 PM race start time onward there is a 95% chance of showers and thunderstorms.

One thing we have learned over the years at Pocono, if there is a chance of rain, it does rain. This rumor will be updated Saturday.
