Houston and New Orleans IndyCar races to fail due to scheduling

The Houston IndyCar race has great sponsors, but the race is scheduled in late June and the fans will wilt in the heat and humidity. They will experience that heat and not be back.

Rumor has it that the New Orleans race will be scheduled in June as well, a guaranteed recipe for disaster for the same reason Houston will fail. Ever been to New Orleans in June, July and August? Could this idiotic rumor be true?

Both races should run in the winter- the week prior to Super Bowl for Houston (late January) , and the week after Mardi Gras in New Orleans (February). Both races would be a huge success.

As for those overseas races early in the season – the first three weeks in January are wide open.
