Simona to Leave IndyCar (Update)

UPDATE Mike Conway wasn’t at the meetings either. Ed Carpenter was though. Mike is, however, testing Friday at Sebring in the No. 20 car.

01/15/14 Reportedly, Simona de Silvestro is not in attendance at this morning's IndyCar Drivers' Meeting in Indianapolis.

Now, we're not going to draw any firm conclusions simply based on this. And it should be noted that Takuma Sato, who is signed to race for A.J. Foyt, is not at the meeting. Contrarily, Conor Daly, who is not signed with an IndyCar team is in attendance. So, read into that what you will.

Nevertheless, this and the fact de Silvestro's camp has been incredibly quiet this off-season doesn't exactly bode well for one of IndyCar's most popular drivers returning to the series in 2014.
