Adam Carroll eyes one-off IndyCar race with Andretti

Adam Carroll could make his return to IndyCar racing at Motegi later this year with Andretti Autosport, according to this week's AUTOSPORT magazine.

Carroll contested two IndyCar races last year in an Andretti Autosport/AFS entry at Watkins Glen and Mid-Ohio, and is now eying a Motegi race drive with Michael Andretti's team.

"Andretti Autosport is where I want to be, and I'm working flat-out to make it happen," he told AUTOSPORT. "I'm working on a sponsor at the moment. We're talking about a one-off [this year], which would be Japan if it happens."
