Has NASCAR made ‘The Call’ for 2011 already?

A reader writes, Dear AR1.com, We all know that everything happens in NASCAR for a reason with everything carefully orchestrated, including who sits on pole each and every week. But some quotes from last night's NASCAR award banquet really caught my attention. Jimmie Johnson's Hendrick teammate Jeff Gordon said Johnson's 5-year streak is over. So did their boss Rick Hendrick. But why, did the best team lose some key personnel, did Johnson forget how to drive, or did NASCAR order them to let someone else win? Has the 'call' for 2011 already been made to have poster child Dale Jr. take the title to boost NASCAR plummeting popularity? Having Dale Jr. win on a consistent basis is about the only thing that can save NASCAR now. Elijah Moses
