Will Michael Schumacher trade in his Ferrari red for Mercedes Silver?

(GMM) Michael Schumacher is meeting with his manager Willi Weber after the coming weekend, according to the German newspaper Bild Zeitung.

The 40-year-old German has been linked with a return to formula one next year with Mercedes' new works team, and so far no party has been willing to clearly deny the rumors.

Bild reports that Schumacher, the only seven time world champion, is currently vacationing in America but scheduled to meet with his long time manager Weber on Monday.

The meeting is slated to take place in Stuttgart, the German city that is also the headquarters of the luxury car marque and its parent Daimler.

Said Weber: "I cannot imagine that he goes to Mercedes (in 2010). He only recently extended with Ferrari for another three years as advisor."

Bild also reports that Schumacher has been training with a newly-purchased neck strengthening machine.
