Monday update from Barber

Newgarden leads early Monday

Monday has dawned sunny and cool at Barber Motorsports Park and the race restart is about to get underway.

When lead-lap cars cross the start/finish line for Monday's resumption, 23 laps will be complete and about 75 minutes will remain on the race clock. Will Power's team has begun to work on his damaged car and they expect to love about 15 laps.

All cars were allowed to refuel and put on dry weather tires. There is a slight chance of more rain and there are almost zero fans in attendance today.
