Champ Car eyes Europe street race

UPDATE Further research tells us that the rumored street race would most probably be in place of Zolder. It is quite possible that Zolder is being used for only one year and then from 2008 onwards Europe Champ Car race promoter Bart Rietbergen can plan other venues, for example in a major European city (Hamburg, Germany or Birmingham, England) or a possibly the airport race in Athens.

01/03/07 According to this Dutch Champ Car website, Bart Rietbergen promoter of the two Champ Car races in Europe is looking at a street race in either Germany or England for 2008.
