Career destroyed, Jourdain eyes WTCC

Former Champ Car driver and race winner Michel Jourdain, Jr. thought that moving to NASCAR would be a panacea, so he threw away what career he built up and tried the move to the tin tops. Having failed miserably, and with his career in shambles, Jourdain is now hoping to secure a drive in the World Touring Car Championship next year in a SEAT Leon. "I believe that I have good chances to join SEAT for their 2007 campaign and I am very motivated," he said. "However, there are still some things to be defined and the final decision is up to SEAT Mexico."
