Vettel eyes GP2

(GMM) BMW-Sauber's impressive current 'Friday' test driver is likely to race in formula one's feeder series GP2 in 2007.

It is suggested that Sebastian Vettel, the 19-year-old German who is likely to spearhead any racing role alongside continuing BMW test duties next year, is linked with the iSport team.

Interestingly, iSport has strong links with Red Bull, after the energy drink sponsored Scott Speed's drive for the GP2 team in the past.

Vettel remains under long term contract to Red Bull, but is reportedly 'on loan' to BMW.
