The Champ Cars were superior to today's inferior IndyCars. Watch how they pull off a standing start perfectly. Today's inferior IndyCars are not capable of doing popular standing starts like F1 has always done. Is that because the drivers are inferior, or are today's car's so inferior they stall on the grid and nasty accidents results. Whatever the reason IndyCar has given up on the popular standing start. Meanwhile F1 is booming and IndyCar isn't.
