GP Masters eyes street races

According to a report on Autosport.com, Grand Prix Masters organizers are eyeing a street race in Durban, South Africa and the USA for 2007. The Durban race would be in addition to the successful A1GP race on the streets of Durban. A1GP, Grand Prix Masters and the IRL are all adding street races and trying to beat Champ Car at their 3-day festival game. Champ Car of course does street races the best, but their inability to close deals in new markets is allowing competitors to get their foot in the door, which of course marginalizes Champ Car's negotiating position.
