Champ Car to mothball two-seater

UPDATE We are hearing that Champ Car is planning two new 2-seater cars with the new chassis due out later this year. When they will get around to making the new two-seater is not known given Panoz is working full throttle on the design and manufacturing of all the new cars for 2007. Hopefully it will appear sometime in 2007.

04/03/06 Rumor has it that Champ Car has decided to mothball the two-seater program, at least for this year. It may run two-three more times, but certainly not each weekend as before. They may resurrect the program with the new chassis next year.
