Button’s $26m F1 bill
(GMMf1NET) Jenson Button's race seat at Honda COST him $26 million, it is reported.
The 'Sun' newspaper said the Briton must cough up the cash after buying his way out of a three year rock-sold Williams deal starting 2006.
However, the bulk of the bill will undoubtedly be picked up by Japanese carmaker Honda, no doubt happy about their investment as 26-year-old 'JB' put his RA106 on pole in Melbourne, despite not winning.
''Giving away money is never my forte but I seem to do it quite well,'' Briton Button said.
