Red Bull could test at A1-Ring

(GMMf1NET) Red Bull's two F1 teams could use the soon-to-be-rebuilt A1-Ring in Austria as a test track.

The former grand prix venue is now part-owned by the energy drink magnate Dietrich Mateschitz, who has vowed to contribute to its $120 million rejuvenation.

In the 'Tiroler Tageszeitung' (Austria) newspaper, the billionaire suggested that he had contemplated the idea of nominating the track as his teams' 'home' venue.

But he admitted: ''I don't think we would get permission to do it.''
