Bahrain test waste of time?

According to Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso the teams traveling to Bahrain last month were wasting their time. The Spaniard believes the Renault team took the right decision not to join the others for a one-week test. Honda, Ferrari and Toro Rosso visited the track in Sakhir three weeks ago to prepare themselves for the Bahrain Grand Prix. "I think it was better to stay in Europe than to travel to Bahrain with the other teams," Alonso told Sport Auto Moto. "Because there were only a few teams there the track was very dirty. They must have lost a lot of time when the track needed to be cleaned."
