Yates and Baldwin expected to start Cup team

Doug Yates, son of Robert Yates Racing Owner Robert Yates and leader of Team Ford Racing’s NASCAR Nextel Cup engine program, and Tommy Baldwin, who served as Kasey Kahne’s crew chief the last two seasons, “are expected to partner together to own a Nextel Cup team" that could start full-time in ’07.
