Schumacher may try MotoGP bike

With all the fuss surrounding Valentino Rossi’s testing for Ferrari, it was only natural for the Scuderia’s biggest star to ask for some switching of his own: Michael Schumacher will test a Ducati Desmosedici MotoGP bike at the Mugello circuit in Italy today.

"If Valentino tests the Ferrari, then some day I could race on the bikes," the German was quoted as saying by the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.

Besides being geographically close to Ferrari, Ducati shares the Scuderia’s Marlboro backing. The Italian team won two races this season with rider Loris Capirossi. More at SPEEDTV
