Rossi and Renault

Renault principal Flavio Briatore has apparently offered Valentino Rossi a F1 test contract for 2007. ''He must do the preparation properly,'' Briatore said, urging the 26-year-old MotoGP champion not to make the four wheeled jump – perhaps with Ferrari – before he is fully ready. Flavio was reportedly quoted by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera: ''A formula one with Rossi would be superb.''
