Riggs to Evernham

See Hot News page for story. 08/22/05 Scott Riggs appears set to join Evernham Motorsports to drive its third Nextel Cup Series team next season, ThatsRacin.com reports. An official announcement of Riggs' move could come as early as next weekend at Bristol, Tenn., sources said. Evernham announced earlier this summer it would form a third Cup team in 2006, using the No. 10 and sponsored by Valvoline, which currently sponsors Riggs' MBV/MB2 Motorsports team. At the time, team owner Ray Evernham said he had not settled on a driver.
