Chevy to switch to Champ Car?

UPDATE We are downgrading this rumor to 'false' as we suspected. 07/30/05 According to this Brazilian website, Chevy will announce participation in the Champ Car series starting in 2006 after announcing their withdrawal from the IRL. This would pit Chevy vs. Ford, who have a longtime rivalry. We don't believe this report, however, we will snoop around today here in San Jose. We suspect this is just someone with wishful thinking.
