Martin wins Pro Mazda Race 1
Despite intense pressure from championship rival Victor Franzoni of Juncos Racing, Cape Motorsports' Anthony Martin held on to win Friday's Cooper Tires Pro Mazda Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio Race 1. It was the fourth win of 2017 for the 22-year-old Australian.
Behind Franzoni came the Team Pelfrey trio of TJ Fischer, Carlos Cunha, and Nikita Lastochkin completing the top-5.
Race 2 for the Pro Mazda Series is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. tomorrow.
