Prodrive eyes F1

David Richards has ruled himself out of contention as Max Mosley's possible FIA successor. The former BAR boss, owner of the Prodrive company, rejected media reports suggesting he is the secret name behind teams' plan to replace the current president. ''That is one of the most undesirable jobs in motorsport,'' he told Reuters at Silverstone, on his first visit to the F1 Paddock this year. I can't imagine anyone wanting to (do) it.''

F1, though, is on Richards' radar, as he hinted that he could see Prodrive on the Formula One grid 'in the future.'
