A1-Ring plan back on track

The redevelopment of Austria's defunct F1 circuit, the A1-Ring, may now be back on track. It is reported that Red Bull billionaire Dietrich Mateschitz's planned $800m project, canned after the objection of environmentalists and the demolition of the site, could be revived.

A Red Bull dossier confirmed that, with legal permission, the company is 'available' to continue with its ambitious plans. ''The new site would be much better and more scenic than the old (A1 Ring),'' said a leading figure of the venture. GMMF1net
