Jordan-Dallara on the rocks

Italian race car builder Dallara is still part of the Midland (Jordan) F1 project, sporting director Trevor Carlin has insisted. A rumor bubbled up at Imola a fortnight ago that the pair had fallen out. Carlin put the chitchat down to a 'mischievous Italian journalist.' ''It's all totally untrue,'' he told Autosport magazine, adding that the 'b' Jordan EJ15 – to debut in July – was produced with Dallara's input. And the 2006 car, to be called a 'Midland', will be Dallara's all-inclusive effort, although Jordan will help out after EJ15's GP launch.
