Swiss media predict JV to get axe

"It's clear that Sauber will be replacing Villeneuve," Zurich newspaper Tages-Anzeiger reported today. "The only question is when and with whom." Another Swiss paper, the Blick, quoted Peter Sauber as saying Villeneuve is guaranteed for the April 24 San Marino GP, but not for the Spanish race two weeks later. Peter Sauber admitted to Reuters that “the partnership between Jacques Villeneuve and Sauber Petronas is currently at a difficult point, but to keep from straining the relationship any further, I prefer not to make any further comments at the moment."
