Oz GP could lose sponsor

The Australian grand prix at Melbourne looks likely to lose some key sponsorship for 2006. A senior executive has been convicted of drink-driving — but the Australian GP corporation didn't tell the Transport Accident Commission (TAC). The 'TAC' traditionally advertise their 'drink drive, bloody idiot' slogan at Albert Park. ''The TAC is furious,'' reported the Herald Sun newspaper, ''that … general manager of operations Jonathan Caughey had lost his license.'' A TAC spokeswoman confirmed: ''We're obviously very disappointed … the AGPC … did not inform us of the incident.'' GMMF1
