The Verizon IndyCar Series Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix has signed a "record number of partners" headed into the Friday-Sunday race weekend.

Of this year's 77 partners, "there are 17 newcomers while a dozen have increased their level of support."

Presenting sponsor Lear, a partner since '15, will "boost its presence" on Belle Isle this weekend with "displays on the track, the Midway, its corporate chalet and through sponsorship of the No. 119 Lear Corp. truck in the Speed Energy Stadium Super Truck Series with driver Arie Luyendyk Jr." CRAINSDETROIT.com
