NASCAR to Move Daytona 500 into Prime Time

If NASCAR gets its way — and as the No. 2 sport on television, it usually does — next year's Daytona 500 will have a new time slot. Considered the Super Bowl of stock car racing, the Daytona 500 is likely to move to a 5 p.m. starting time so it can end during prime time to attract a bigger audience and higher advertising dollars, just like football's Super Bowl.
