Wurz could leave McLaren

F1 test driver Alex Wurz could leave McLaren at the end of the year. The tall Austrian, reportedly frustrated that the team blocked a solid racing offer and livid at the 'Friday' job rebuke, is – contractually liberated for 2006 – linked with a move to the so-called 'Dubai F1' camp.

Wurz, who turned 31 on Tuesday and does not fit in McLaren's 2005 MP4-20 model, moved from Benetton to the Woking developmental role in 2000. Dubai F1, it was announced – although it's been all-quiet ever since – could race into F1 next year with Mercedes-Benz power and McLaren support.
