Corona may not back Lavin

The word from our Mexican sources is that Corona is in, except they might not be with Rodolfo Lavin. Our sources were told they want a driver that can win races and probably will not take an option on him for 2005. They are main sponsors in the NASCAR Mexico series and also in WRC with Subaru. And of course, now the fashion in Mexico is NASCAR (just as we predicted would happen) so sponsors are looking at them since IRL and Champ Car are fighting all the time and nobody seems to like that. They want stability. As we have written on numerous occasions, NASCAR has an office in Mexico with staff working day and night seeking sponsors and promoting their product. Champ Car has none and will eventually lose the Mexican market to NASCAR.
