Paffett offered F1 seat?

British star of German 'DTM' racing, Gary Paffett, may have been offered a F1 test contract for '05, we can reveal. But he turned it down, reportedly, in favor of Paffett's management searching out a full time race drive for the '06 season. ''We always talked about a full seat only,'' the 24-year-old said. ''I don't want to just test, because I want to show what I can do when I am racing.'' Paffett also admitted that a one-off test run for McLaren, due to the connection with Mercedes-Benz's DTM team, is a possibility this year.
