Christopher Bell On Pole For Charlotte Truck Series Race
Christopher Bell secured his third NASCAR Camping World Truck Series pole after turning in the fastest lap in Friday’s qualifying session for Friday night’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Bell rallied after finishing second to Chase Briscoe in the opening round of qualifying to power to the top spot with a lap of 29.852 seconds (180.892) to notch his second straight pole.
Briscoe qualified second with a lap of 29.881 (180.717), followed by Johnny Sauter (29.929/180.427), Kyle Busch (30.053/179.683) and Ben Rhodes (30.126/179.247).
Brandon Brown and Cody Ware failed to qualify for the race.
