Pennzoil Renews With Don Schumacher Racing
Pennzoil will also continue to be known as the official oil technology of Don Schumacher Racing. The announcement was made Friday afternoon at the Don Schumacher Racing headquarters near Indianapolis during the annual DSR Sponsor Summit.
Pennzoil will also be a major associate sponsor of current NHRA Top Fuel points leader Leah Pritchett and her primary backer for at least one NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event this year. The company also has a major presence on the Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car of two-time world champion Matt Hagan and as a major associate on reigning world champion Ron Capps’ NAPA Auto Parts Dodge.
“We have been very excited since DSR made the switch to Pennzoil a little more than a year ago, and Pennzoil has lived up to their promise and have even gone beyond," said team owner Don Schumacher.
“What our teams have accomplished by becoming a partner with Pennzoil is astounding," he said. “Pennzoil has become part of our family."
