Red Bull team may hire Berger

Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz says he may bring in ex-BMW motorsport boss Gerhard Berger to help his new team make its debut next season. Tony Purnell, team boss for Jaguar before its sale, will take charge of the new look Red Bull. But Mateschitz did not rule out also bringing aboard Berger, a friend who won 10 Grands Prix in a 13-year career. "Gerhard is an expert and his advice would certainly be useful to us," said Mateschitz, a fellow Austrian. The 59-year-old billionaire, one of the world's richest people estimated to be worth $1.4bn, said his team was hoping to clinch a title within the next three to five seasons. But he said key positions on the team would "need reconsideration." BBC
