Zsolt and Minardi to split

(GMM — Nov.2) Zsolt Baumgartner is unlikely to retain the same pay-drive budget in 2005, the Hungarian Formula One driver admitted. But the 23-year-old's manager, Tamas Frank, was quoted on a Hungarian-language internet website as saying Minardi owner Paul Stoddart may let Baumgartner keep driving next year anyway. Zsolt said: ''If I won't have the opportunity (to stay at Minardi), I would be glad to be a test driver for a renowned team.'' At a press conference in Budapest, Baumgartner also revealed that Minardi or Jordan – for whom he debuted in the capital city last season – were the realistic targets for a continuing race stint.
