San Jose may not get Silicon Valley GP

According to our sources, the Silicon Valley Grand Prix listed on the preliminary 2005 Champ Car schedule for July 31st will be in San Jose around the HP Pavilion. However, Champ Car President Dick Eidswick made a statement in Thursday's press conference announcing the schedule that indicates that locale might have some issues and other sites are being considered. "The site in Silicon Valley is not firm yet. San Jose is certainly one of the alternatives. We will announce that whenever it's clear," stated Eidswick.
