Pagenaud tops morning warm-up in Long Beach

Simon Pagenaud

Simon Pagenaud, who was fast in qualifying but lost his two fast laps for blocking Helio Castroneves, topped the morning warmup session for the 43rd Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach with a lap of 1m06.650s – not far off the pole time from Saturday.

Andretti Autosport drivers Takuma Sato and Alexander Rossi were 2nd and 3rd.

Ganassi drivers Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan rounded out the top-5 as Honda cars had four out of the top five speeds.
