Fan settles suit over Daytona crash debris injury

A lawsuit by a NASCAR fan injured by flying debris from a 12-car crash at Daytona International Speedway came to an end Monday as a Florida federal judge issued a final dismissal of the case following a settlement reached last month.

U.S. District Judge Gregory A. Presnell dismissed Allen Davis' case against NASCAR, the speedway and speedway owner International Speedway Corp. with prejudice on Monday, putting an end to the over-year-old case concerning the 2013 crash. Law360
