Advance Auto Parts Clash Postponed Due To Rain

The Advance Auto Parts Clash at Daytona has been officially postponed due to rain, and has been rescheduled for Sunday at 11:35am just prior to Daytona 500 qualifying.

Rain had been in the forecast for Friday at Daytona, but most of the afternoon on-track activities went off as scheduled, including the opening Daytona 500 practice, but while the season-opening ARCA race was under a red flag for a multi-car crash, the skies opened up and forced officials to call the race complete with five laps still to go.

Rain continued to fall as pre-race festivities began, and shortly after 9:30pm NASCAR officials made the call to postpone the event.
