Annual figures from the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority show that the NASCAR HOF's revenue "declined by $300,000 during the fiscal year that ended last summer," but "whether the racing museum finally broke even remains unresolved."

Revenue declined 4.6% from '15 to $6.2M, which CRVA and HOF execs attributed to a "slower booking year at the neighboring convention center."

Attendance increased by 4,000 to 170,500 for FY '16, up from 166,559 in '15. BIZJOURNALS.com
