Phoenix signs Xfinity race sponsor

AVONDALE, Ariz. – Phoenix International Raceway has signed Ticket Galaxy as title sponsor of its upcoming NASCAR XFINITY Series race.

The Connecticut-based company also was named PIR’s official secondary-market ticket provider. The Ticket Galaxy 200 on Saturday, Nov. 12, will be the semifinal race in the inaugural Chase for the NASCAR XFINITY Series title.

"This event is now more important than ever as it will determine the final four drivers to contend for a championship in the series’ first-ever Chase," said PIR President Brian R. Sperber. "As we look for innovative ways to offer the best in customer service, we're happy to work alongside Ticket Galaxy in giving consumers a new way to find the perfect seat at PIR."

Through this multi-year agreement, Ticket Galaxy becomes the official secondary-market ticket partner of Phoenix International Raceway, Auto Club Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway and Michigan International Speedway – giving fans the opportunity to purchase race tickets through a trusted source that provides instantly downloadable tickets.

"Phoenix International Raceway is one of NASCAR’s most historic tracks, where the Chase is nearing the finish line and something electrifying always seems to happen," said Steve Kobelski, president of Ticket Galaxy.

Tickets for the Ticket Galaxy 200 start at just $35 and 2017 PIR season tickets are available beginning at $99. Individual tickets and season tickets are available online at PhoenixRaceway.com, by phone at 1-866-408-RACE (7223) or in person at the PIR ticket office.
