Video: Winterbottom takes pole for Townsville 400
Mark Winterbottom has fired a warning to his rivals by taking pole position in the ARMOR ALL Top 10 Shootout for this afternoon’s 200km race at the Castrol EDGE Townsville 400.
The reigning Supercars Champion pipped Craig Lowndes by 0.1 secs with an electrifying lap of 1min12.4077 to earn his place at the front of the grid.
Winterbottom won back-to-back races at the circuit last year and finished third yesterday behind Jamie Whincup and Shane van Gisbergen.
