Scalpers scamming Indy 500 fans

For the first time in 25 years, reserved seats at the Indianapolis 500 are sold out.

Because of that, some people are now taking advantage of race fans with high resale prices – and even scams.

Type in Indy 500 on eBay or any other online seller and you'll find reserve seating tickets for hundreds, even thousands, of dollars.

StubHub also has tickets available, ranging from $50 for general admission to $10,000 for seats in the vista area.

If you can wait all the way until race day – May 29 – StubHub says you could save even more money. More than 50 percent of tickets sold on the site day-of go for under face value.
