Extra track time for teams at Las Vegas

With the new low-downforce rules package for 2016 still in its infancy, NASCAR is giving Sprint Cup Series teams a little extra track time this week in Las Vegas. There are two test sessions scheduled Thursday, one in the morning and the other after lunch, to aid teams in preparing for Sunday's Kobalt 400. All told, teams will get five hours of test time on Thursday. There'll be one more practice session Friday morning before qualifying later in the day. Motor Racing Network ….. NASCAR has scheduled an all-day test session on Thursday at 9:00am, for the Sprint Cup Series teams, and Las Vegas Motor Speedway is opening the grandstands and Neon Garage for free to all race fans. In addition to the test, Brad Keselowski and Landon Cassill will visit the Neon Garage to participate in question-and-answer sessions with fans at 3:30pm.(LVMS
