Rosenqvist takes pole for SJM Theodore Racing by Prema

Felix Rosenqvist will start the qualification race for the 62nd Macau Grand Prix from pole position for SJM Theodore Racing by Prema.

The Swedish driver came out on top of a close fight, decimating his Thursday time to take pole by 0.213 seconds in his quest for his second Macau wind and Theodore Racing’s eighth.

The qualification race takes place on Saturday, with the Macau Grand Prix itself on Sunday.

Felix Rosenqvist: The two guys right behind me gave me quite a lot of push today. When they told me on the radio that Dani Juncadella was more or less on the same lap time as me I had to really put an extra gear in and risk a lot to do my lap. I’m happy with that. The preparation has been fantastic – the same as we always get with this team, even though Macau is such a difficult circuit. I''m really happy with the car.
