Driver dies in All American Outlaws crash at Susquehanna Speedway Park

Carnie Fryfogle, a 66-year old from Manchester, Maryland, was pronounced dead by the York County Coroner at the track after a single-car crash on the final lap of the All American Outlaws feature event at the Susquehanna Speedway Park in York County in Pennsylvania, Saturday night.

According to a statement from the circuit, Fryfogle was running in eighth position of 19 cars when his single-car incident took place on the backstretch on the final lap of the 20-lap feature.

Fryfogle’s car rolled several times before coming to a stop. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 11 p.m., with the cause of death being ruled as multiple blunt force traumas to the head, according to the York County Corona.

The manner of the crash has been ruled accidental and there will no autopsy. Fryfogle was wearing his full racing gear. The Neberry Township Police Department is investigating the crash.
