Bourdais tops opening practice at Mid-Ohio

With a lap time of 1:06.203, Sebastien Bourdais placed the #11 Team Hydroxycut – KVSH Racing Chevrolet atop the times sheets in today's opening Verizon IndyCar Series practice for the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio. Last year's pole winner was 0.162s quicker than reigning series champion Will Power and 0.178s quicker than Josef Newgarden, in a Chevrolet sweep of the top-3.
The A.J. Foyt Racing pair of Takuma Sato and Jack Hawksworth led the Honda charge, rounding out the top-five.
Championship leader Juan Pablo Montoya had a difficult session only completing 12 laps, and posting the 23rd best time.
